To handle The elephant in the room: Yes, Lego bricks are made of plastic. The company makes billions of tiny bricks that spread around the world and in your living room, and are biodegradable and non-recyclable.
With that being said, Lego bricks are made to very tight tolerances. Unless your dog chews on them, the bricks retain what Lego refers to as their “strength” for decades. Like many othersmy family became interested in Lego sets during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we still love them to this day. Over the years, I haven’t found a better way to while away a rainy afternoon than making miniature creatures and pterosaurs with your son.
