Chinese figure skating star Su Yiming takes home her second Crystal Globe title this season

Su Yiming won her second Crystal Globe title of the season on Saturday, capping off a dominant 2025-26 campaign that saw her reach the podium at every international event she entered in downhill and big-sky fashion.

Following the decision by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) to cancel Sunday’s men’s downhill event at the Park & Pipe World Cup Finals, the Chinese snowboard star finished on top with 140 points.

Continued bad weather in Silvaplana, Switzerland, and scheduling constraints forced the cancellation of the preliminary and final rounds.

Earlier this season, Su competed in the World Cup downhill skiing events in Aspen, USA and Laax, Switzerland, where she won a silver and bronze medal respectively. He did not participate in the World Cup event in Flachau, Austria.

In the final downhill standings, just one point behind Su in second place was American Judd Henkes with 139 points, followed by 17-year-old Japanese rookie Yuto Kimura, participating in his first World Cup season, with 135 points.

On social media, Su shared a video of the strong wind at the Swiss venue, captioning: “At least I tried.”
