MANILA, Philippines – Pope Leo XIV leads Easter Sunday Mass in Saint Peter’s Square at the Vatican on April 5, ending his first week as pope.
The Mass celebrates Christ’s resurrection after a week-long commemoration of his suffering and death.
Today he will also give the traditional Urbi et Orbi (“To the City and the World”) blessing from the central balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica following Mass.
