The Legal Network for Truth Elections (LENTE), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Organization (UNDP), held two voter education sessions at MSU-Tawi-Tawi in Bongao as part of its preparations for the BARMM 2026 Parliamentary Elections.
Following yesterday’s session at TRAC, today’s activity involved students from marketing, education, and political science programs. Discussions were about BARMM’s parliamentary system, upcoming elections, and the roles and responsibilities of voters.

The first session was chaired by Atty. Helen Graido and the second session was facilitated by Mrs. Louwallien Donnah Velez of LENTE.
Participants also discussed important issues such as misuse of country’s resourcesvote buying, and misinformation—to help them become more informed and responsible voters.
These sessions are part of LENTE’s ongoing voter education efforts throughout the Bangsamoro region this April, ahead of the election period.

LENTE remains committed to empowering voters and enhancing electoral participation.
