After finishing sixth in Saturday’s race, Oscar Piastri said McLaren were hoping for a good start.

At the moment, Mercedes are fastest on the grid, however Ferrari have had a good start as well.
“We will do our best to start well and keep on top of the tires, as they were the main reason for the race,” Piastri said.
“Car racing will also be very important, so let’s see what we can unlock overnight to get more points on the board.”
However, speaking at the driver’s parade on Sunday, Piastri sounded pessimistic.
“There’s no point in fooling ourselves; we’re behind,” he told her Sky Sports F1 vaccine.
“Yesterday, we came very close to bettering what we had, and we’re still half a second behind.”
