This was probably Ullmark’s best game of the season – he made many impressive stops. To list a few: a blocker save on Connor Dewar on a 2-1 run in the first, a running back to rob Anthony Mantha at the goal line in the second, three stops in quick succession on Bryan Rust, Noel Acciari and Mantha in the final second of the middle frame, two glove saves on Karlsson on a 5-on-3 at the penalty box. on Thomas Novak’s layup with 20 seconds left on a 3-on-3, and finally, a windmill glove saved Rakell in the shootout. Ullmark deserved well from his team in this one.
