T20 World Cup 2026 campaign UAE: Check complete schedule, squad, ticket prices, match venues and other details



The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is expected to start on February 7. In the previous world 2024, the UAE did not qualify, however this time the team has returned and secured a place in the last 20 teams. In the playoffs held in Oman, the UAE beat Japan in the Super Six match and cemented their position.

This will be the third time for the UAE to play in the T20 World Cup, having previously participated in 2014 and 2022. With a great mix of youth and experience, the team hopes to make a bigger impact this time around.

UAE has already played a friendly match against Nepal on February 3 and will face Italy in another match tomorrow ie February 6. They are drawn in Group D, along with Canada, Afghanistan, New Zealand and South Africa.

UAE T20 World Cup 2026 squad

The 15-man squad is led by Muhammad Waseem (c) and includes: Alishan Sharafu, Aryansh Sharma, Dhruv Parashar, Haider Ali, Harshit Kaushik, Junaid Siddique, Mayank Kumar, Muhammad Arfan, Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Jawadullah, Muhammad Zohaib, Rohanjeib Khan, Rohanjeib Khan, Sim.

The coaching staff is headed by Lalchand Rajput, with former Pakistan international Yasir Arafat as the fast bowling coach and Zimbabwean Stanley Chioza as the team coach.

Ticket prices for UAE matches in India start from INR 250 (approx. AED 10) which goes up to INR 10,000 (approx. AED 406), if you are looking for complete hospitality.
