“Whenever something happens to any Jewish institution, or any Jewish community, whether it happens abroad or close to home like in Toronto or Montreal, we feel it,” said Adam Silver, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa. “The community becomes sympathetic and cares for those communities and affected people.”
