“TOH has implemented a series of measures to reduce budget pressure, find savings and preserve health care positions. These include providing early retirement for those who are eligible, closing and eliminating open positions, implementing innovative ways to provide services that are more efficient, returning to staffing levels funded before COVID, freezing travel and moving to a more economic group of the region,” the statement of the hospital’s plan said.
