“No Scotland, no party” is the famous rallying cry of the Tartan Army and for the first time in 28 years the World Cup will be treated to a mix of noise, color and enthusiasm from Scottish fans.
Scotland supporters are better known for making an impression at major tournaments than their team on the pitch.
The national team has never made it out of the group stage of the World Cup and European Championship in the last 12 attempts.
Yet 200,000 Scots received a rave review that brought Euro 2024 to Germany despite failing to see their team win the match.
Tens of thousands of people are expected to defy high fares to travel to Boston and Miami in the coming weeks.

“If you would have told me 28 years ago that we wouldn’t have seen another World Cup by now I would have been in tears, to be honest,” Niall Fitzgerald, 50, said outside Hampden Park, which hosted Scotland’s friendly win over Curacao last weekend.
