Charges have been filed against four boys, one 11 years old, after police chased Logan in an allegedly stolen car.
Police spotted a blue BYD Shark being driven dangerously through Woodridge at around 8.10pm on Friday, less than an hour after the car was reported stolen from Sunnybank shopping centre.
The pursuit spanned several neighborhoods before returning to Logan, where police deployed a tire suction device, causing the driver to lose control on Birun Street, Woodridge.
Images of the fugitive, released by the Queensland Police Service, show the car with median strips and swerving around cars.
Four youths – an 11-year-old from Waterford West, two 13-year-olds from Waterford West and Eagleby, and a 14-year-old from Kingston – were arrested at the scene and later charged with offenses including illegal driving.
One of the 13-year-old boys was also charged with dangerous driving, evading police, and driving without a license.
The 11-year-old was also charged with possessing a knife in public.
All four boys will appear in court in the next few weeks.
