Dyson calls V16 Piston Animal ($980) its most powerful cordless vacuum yet. It has 315 watts of suction power and the new Dyson Hyperdymium 900-watt motor. There’s a new head cleaner—Sense All-Floor Cones—with brush bars that look a bit like the PencilVac Fluffycones, with the same design and color scheme. The All Floor Cones Sense headset also promises to detect changes in floor type and respond automatically (hence “Sense”). It also still comes with the Fluffy Optic cleaning head for hard floors, as seen on V15 Detect with Gen5detect.
The V16 Piston Animal also has a dirt bin that can suppress dust and dirt, allowing it to hold for up to 30 days. It also now has a dirt removal mechanism that allows you to push out dirt, making it easy to empty. Dyson has promised a pull-out center for this model, but it’s not yet available; Dyson says it will be available to buy in the future.
There is also a The submarine variant that retails for $1,100. The version adds to the same wet roller head as the V15 Detect Submarine, but Dyson says this version has new moisture control technology for more targeted water use when cleaning, and a boost mode when dealing with stains.

The Dyson V10 Conical ($500) it’s Dyson’s first stand-alone vacuum, but the larger docking station you’ll sometimes see pictured with—the auto-vacuum Dock, which will retail for $150—won’t be available for purchase until August.
