The Knicks will take over ‘The Tonight Show’ for a special episode



Knicks fever still high this week as the NBA Champions are expected to take that position Tonight’s episode.

Following a historic victory that basically broke the internetThe New York Knicks will join Jimmy Fallon for a special on Monday night.

In his press release, Fallon called it “an archive 53 years in the making.”

After 53 years, the Knicks won their first NBA championship since 1973 on Saturday night, defeating the San Antonio Spurs. Following curse claim and one hell of a returnThe Knicks won their Game 5 94-90, sparking celebrations in the streets of New York City and on social networks.

On Monday night, the entire Knicks team will be on display The Tonight Show, with NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges expected to be interviewed by Fallon. Knicks head coach Mike Brown and the Knicks City Dancers will also join the show.

To close out the festivities, New York icons Wu-Tang Clan will perform at the show.

Tickets for the special Knicks Tonight Show have already been released to “Knicks fans who were unable to attend the Finals in person,” according to a press release. Guests previously booked for the June 15 Tonight Show – Lin-Manuel Miranda, Britt Lower, Rhett and Link, and Zarna Garg, for various types – will be moved to another date.

Tonight’s episode The Knicks special will air on Monday, June 15 at 11:35 pm ET on NBC, and will stream Tuesdays on Peacock.
