Nonie Buencamino, Katrine Sunga, and Marvin Ong sing ‘Man of La Mancha’!
MANILA, Philippines – The cast of Man of La Mancha will hit the Rappler Live Jam stage on Thursday, June 18.
Inspired by the novel The brilliant gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, of music Man of La Mancha contains a fictional story by an acclaimed author Miguel de Cervanteswho must learn to defend himself from his fellow prisoners after being imprisoned by the Spanish court.
Cervantes later transforms into Don Quixote in the play in the public version.
Organized by Repertory Philippines, Man of La Mancha stars Nonie Buencamino as Miguel de Cervantes and Don Quixote, Katrine Sunga as Aldonza, and Marvin Ong as Sancho Panza. The musical made its Broadway debut in 1965.
