Both of these also happen to be among my favorite espresso machines for many people—devices that I often recommend to espresso beginners who want to stop paying $7 for a drink at Starbucks. That makes these two of the best early Amazon Big Day deals of 2026.

Breville Barista Express is a semiautomatic espresso machine, which means that the grinder and steamer are integrated into the machine—a one-stop shop for frothy milk drinks. It has been the best-selling espresso maker of its kind for so long that I can’t remember a time when it wasn’t.

WIRED has been recommending Express as one of our favorite espresso makers for nearly a decade for its combination of value, reliability, accuracy and ease of use. This $200 off sale during Amazon Prime Day 2026 is the lowest price I’ve seen in years – a good enough deal I had to double and triple check to make sure it was real.
