Zelenskyy to skip meeting to restore Ukraine amid conflict with Poland – POLITICO

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced on Tuesday that she will lead Kyiv’s delegation to this week’s Revitalization of Ukraine Summit in Gdańsk, with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expected to skip the event amid a growing diplomatic row with his Polish counterpart, Karol Nawrocki.

“I am leading the Ukrainian delegation and our work as a whole at the 2026 Ukraine Restoration Conference in Gdańsk,” wrote Svyrydenko on X. The Ukrainian team will include business leaders, officials, parliamentarians and representatives of local communities who want to find “real deals” on Ukraine’s defense capabilities, stability and energy sector, he said.

The meeting, which has been jointly organized by Poland and Ukraine and is expected to take place on June 25 to 26, aims support internationally for the reconstruction of Ukraine and to get investment for businesses affected by the war in the country.
