Google Assistant on the W4100i is still useful. By using a Samsung Galaxy S26+ phone, I asked Google Assistant to set up the projector, and everything was set up and running in minutes. All my favorite apps were loaded. This simple setup doesn’t work on iPhone, so you have to start the setup using your Google login. Google Assistant isn’t as advanced as Gemini, but it can still produce slideshows on any topic with audio narration. BenQ may also upgrade this model to Google TV in the future.
The BenQ W4100i (more) fixed the cornerstone and size of my projector screen as well as the wall in my living room. I had to make the image more straight than the hair, but I prefer the way the Leica Cine Play 1 seems to automatically scale the image.
The BenQ W4100i remote control was a joy to use. I appreciated the abundance of dedicated buttons for accessing the projector’s advanced settings, but the remote control never felt awkward or awkward. It was also easy to adjust the picture quality using the row of buttons at the bottom of the remote control. Unlike most streaming smartphones, there are no dedicated buttons for any apps.
Cinematic Image Quality

The specifications of the BenQ W4100i are impressive. 3,200 lumens bring the movie to life, even in a room that wasn’t completely dark. The projector hits 100 percent Rec.709 and DCI-P3 color and supports HDR10+. BenQ includes settings like Dynamic Black, tone and contrast enhancers, and CinematicColor to help improve contrast, black levels, and color contrast.
Although the picture quality on the W4100i is above average, you won’t find a competitive option. Colors were more vibrant and had a more dynamic range on Samsung’s The Frame Pro 2026. On the W4100i, green grassy scenes looked a bit brownish instead. Similarly, the mist over the mountain area lacked definition. And the Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus and Leica Cine Play 1 produced brighter reds and yellows in flowery scenes. Skinton lacks contrast and subtlety, although contrast was better than on TCL NXTVISION.
