The offside battle between top goalscorers Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland will take center stage at the World Cup on Friday as France take on Norway in a crucial Group I clash.
Real Madrid star Mbappe and Manchester City striker Haaland have started the tournament in good form, neck and neck with four goals each in the race for the golden boot, just behind leader Lionel Messi with five goals.
On Friday, the two strikers will meet in a heavyweight clash in Foxborough, outside Boston, at 3pm local time (Saturday 3am, Hong Kong time), with first place in the group up for grabs.
France, who looked the better in beating Senegal and Iraq, have a slight advantage, with a superior goal difference meaning Les Bleus only need a draw to top the group.
But the Norwegians have been in impressive form, beating Iraq 4-1 in their first match before beating Senegal 3-2 on Monday.

Haaland, playing in his first World Cup, has reveled in the international spotlight, playing with a passion that can ask even the toughest questions of France’s defence.
