The end of bigger World Cup it’s almost here. After 100 matches, there are only four teams left with two more games to play.
The tournament is organized by three countries: Mexico, Canada and the United States. All those host countries are now out of the running. The final teams are France, Spain, England, and Argentina. The teams will play two more games: one to decide who will take third place, and a final match to decide the winner and runner-up.
Going into this year’s World Cup, FIFA expected it to be most viewed competition in the organization’s history. With the tournament entering the quarter-finals earlier this month, FIFA noted that more than 6.2 million people had attended the match in person, “with millions more following the action on digital platforms, broadcasts and fan experiences in host cities and around the world.”

Here’s how to watch the final games.
The end
The final game of the World Cup will be Spain vs Argentina at 3 p.m. EDT up Sunday, July 19, at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.
The game will also feature the first-ever Super Bowl-style halftime show in World Cup history, with performances from Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, BTS, and Gustavo Dudamel. As the name implies, that may land in the middle of the broadcast, so aim to watch somewhere around 4:00 EDT on July 19.
Third Place Playoff
The third place is decided by the match between the two losers of the semi-final matches. France and England will fight for the bronze title 5 p.m. EDT up Saturday, July 18, at Miami Stadium in Miami.
Where to Stream
If you have satellite TV or cable service, you can watch the finals live on TV through Fox Sports in the United States. Games are also available on FoxOne streaming service for $20 a month.
FIFA has partnered with YouTube as “preferred partner” to stream games. You will need YouTube TV sports programwhich is currently $55 per month. Other paid options include Fubo ($46 per month) and Hulu live games option ($90 per month).
In cooperation with Telemundo, Peacock is streaming All games in Spanish. You can find them all official broadcasters on the FIFA website.
New Competition
This World Cup has been big, competitive, as it is first to include 48 teams in the tournament instead of 32 in the previous World Cup. Considering the increase in the number of teams, the format of the tournament was different from the previous World Cup. Countries were first drawn into groups (lettered A–L) and played games in the First Stage within those groups.
The winners of those matches advanced to a stage called the Round of 32, then were eliminated in the Round of 16. After that, the winners advanced to the quarter-finals, which ended last weekend. The semi-final ended with Argentina defeating England on Wednesday, July 15.
