The Golden Boot, awarded to the tournament’s top scorer, went to the French captain Kylian Mbappe, who scored ten impressive goals. He clinched the award with two crucial goals during a thrilling 6-4 third-placed win against England.
Mbappé is now the first player in modern football to win the Golden Boot at the World Cup twice in a row, bringing his total to 22 World Cup goals. of Argentina Lionel Messi finished behind him and took home the Silver Boot.

Rodri claims the Ballon d’Or as Spain dominates the individual awards
While France took the goalscoring crown, champions Spain dominated the rest of the individual awards list. Midfielder Rodri won the prestigious Ballon d’Or, awarded to the tournament’s best overall player.
Rodri was the spearhead of Spain’s unbeaten run, controlling the pace of every game and completing a tournament-high 753 passes. Lionel Messi finished second in the voting, taking home the Silver Ball.

Unai Simón earns Golden Glove for record-breaking clean sheets
Spain he also won the award for best defensive quality. The best goalkeeper Unai Simón won the Golden Glove for the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Simón set a new World Cup record with seven clean sheets in eight games, anchoring a defense that had conceded just one goal throughout the tournament.

Pau Cubarsí has been named FIFA Young Player of the tournament
In the end, 19-year-old Spanish center back Pau Cubarsí won FIFA Best Young Player Award. The young Barcelona full-back played every minute of Spain’s title-winning campaign and provided the best defensive performance in the final, completely shutting down Argentina’s dangerous line.
