An Ottawa traffic safety officer was patrolling southbound in an unmarked vehicle on Saturday around 7 p.m. — and pulled up behind a car at a traffic light at Riverside Drive and Hunt Club Road. When the light turned green, the car accelerated north on Riverside Drive and allegedly reached speeds of 172 km/h in the 60 post zone.
