Inside the wedding of Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux of Monaco: The legendary gown, the eternal promise, and the departure of Ferrari

The engines may have been turned off, but the romance was running high in Monaco. Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux officially became husband and wife on February 28, 2026, and sealed their love story with a traditional ceremony in Monte Carlo, making it of course a vintage Ferrari getaway.

The Ferrari driver, 28, and his model bride gave fans front row access via Instagram, sharing inside snaps of their big day. In one heart-warming clip, Leclerc gently slipped a wedding band onto Saint Mleux’s finger before leaning in for a kiss writing: “28/02/2026 – Civil Wedding.” But this is Monaco, the trick continues until now.

After saying “I do,” the newlyweds cruised through the sun-drenched streets in a rare 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa convertible, turning their trip into a cinematic moment worthy of a Grand Prix capital. The shiny sports car was not just transportation, it was a statement. Posing alongside it, the pair looked every inch the modern motorsport property. And yes, their beloved dachshund Leo stole the picture all day.

Dressed in a little black tuxedo, Leo was seen in many pictures, hopping on the train of a Saint Mleux gown, resting on her lap and even sitting proudly in a Ferrari. The wedding cake featured a small Leo topper with a playful little “bite” detail, a sweet nod to the pup who has been a part of their love story from the beginning. (Fans will remember his role in Leclerc’s November 2025 proposal, complete with a turtleneck that says “DAD WANTS TO MARRY YOU.”)

Saint Mleux stunned in a shimmering off-the-shoulder Paolo Sebastian gown made from French Chantilly lace, finished with delicate floral and butterfly accents and embellished with initials and the wedding date. She accessorized with Graff jewels, a sleek bun and a bouquet of white blooms, perfectly complementing the plans for the white lily ceremony. “Dream. I can’t wait to marry you again next year x,” she captioned it, hinting at a bigger celebration to come.

Leclerc echoed those comments, calling it “a day we will remember forever. The first part is finished and the 2nd part will be next year with all our close people.” From racing to romance, Monaco’s golden couple just proved that when it comes to romance, they’re always in good shape.
