LIV Golf Hong Kong: Jon Rahm, 4Aces finally end their unbeaten streaks

Jon Rahm snapped his LIV Golf unbeaten streak in emphatic fashion on Sunday, shooting a six-under par 64 in Hong Kong to claim his first title since Chicago in September 2024.

Rahm finished at 23 under, three shots ahead of Thomas Detry, with Harold Varner III one shot back in third.

The 4Aces, meanwhile, won the team event, and had waited the longest to taste success again, with 973 days between their 2023 win at LIV Golf London and their win at Fanling.

Dustin Johnson’s team, which was third in the first two events of the season in Riyadh and Adelaide, finished the day at one under 58, six shots ahead of Smash GC.

“Winning as a team is huge, we finished third the first couple of weeks, yeah, it’s huge. We’re going to be a tough team to beat all year,” Johnson said.

The only blip in Rahm’s day was a bogey at the end, which dropped his Legion XIII team to third. But it could not reduce the feeling of the Spaniard to win again.
