Former Tory MP Crispin Blunt pleads guilty to drug possession – POLITICO


LONDON – Former Conservative MP Crispin Blunt has pleaded guilty to possession of drugs, including cannabis and crystal meth.

Blunt, MP for Reigate between 1997 and 2024 and briefly Prisons Minister in David Cameron’s government, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday following drug charges.

After a raid on his Surrey home in 2023, the former MP was found with the sedative GBL, cannabis, methamphetamine, and a drug known as crystal meth.
