I am deeply saddened by the death of Peter Clark, a crossing guard who was hit on duty in Barrhaven. I am also very angry as I feel that I have been removed speed enforcement camera near its location may have directly contributed to this tragedy. Contrary to what Doug Ford and his party have stated, research has shown that speed cameras were effective in reducing traffic speeds in school zones.
