Flying high on the first turn, Kleven kept the game alive for a 1-0 lead, chipping the ball off a Tampa Bay defender and onto Cozens’ stick. He fired in a shot like a trailer on the first run from Foegele, and had three shots on the first penalty shot of the game. Kleven turned around and couldn’t clear a 2-1 lead, but made several defensive plays that could have saved goals, such as when he blocked Gourde and James Reimer’s scoring attempt down and out in the second period, and when he kept Brayden Point driving to the net on a PK in the third period.
