Reflecting on the change, Jadeja said “Initially, it was a bit difficult because I had played for CSK for about 12-13 years, so it was a normal emotional moment. But I thought this is also part of the journey. And the good thing is that I am coming back to the team with which I won my first IPL title.”

He added that his memories with RR from 2008, when he won the title under Shane Warne, are still special. “With those memories and positive thoughts, I felt good going there. I knew I would get to learn new things with a new group, and I could also share my experiences with the people there.”
