Other Cases to Consider

Spigen Hard Armor and Nano Pop MagFit Cases: These affordable cases look and perform well for the price. The Nano Pop The case was just a little slippery for me, and Solid Weapons The kickstand case was flimsier than I would have liked. But if none of our other suggestions tickle your fancy, these options aren’t the worst.
Dbrand Tank Case for $60: This case seems very reasonable. If that’s the look you want, it’s worth considering. For me, I found the background text to be a bit overwhelming and unpleasant. I couldn’t forget about my phone case. The buttons are adjustable, and there are camera covers to help ensure a cohesive look. The case is durable and sturdy, and makes it easy to hold the phone comfortably. It just comes down to the type of design you prefer.
Spartan poet, Revolutionand Guardian Case: I thought all these three cases were the same. I liked it Revolution a built-in privacy cover for the camera, which also helped to protect the wide range of cameras from bumps and bruises. But I wasn’t a fan of the rest of the design—while the built-in kickstand is a neat feature, the entire case was too bulky for my liking. The Guardian It was the thinnest, and I liked it for the most part although the black grippy edges were a little bulkier than I wanted to be. I didn’t like it Spartan case a built-in metal ring, tactical design, or hard bumper corners. Overall, the Poetry cases I tried were attractively priced but their designs weren’t to my liking. All three cases come with screen protectors, which work well (although you’ll have to install them the old-fashioned way).
Best Screen Protectors
Spigen AluminaCore Screen Protectors (2-pack) for $19: Installation was easy, with a foolproof frame and a removable sticker that leaves the guard where you want it. I had some initial issues with bubbles (which I was able to remove with the included squeegee) which is why these aren’t my top choice. I like to get two in case there are issues with the installation, or as a backup when you break the first one.
Cases to Avoid
Samsung Slim Magnet Case for $70: If this case costs $20, then sure. But it’s $70 for a very thin plastic shell with a built-in magnetic ring. The design seems flimsy, and the case is slippery as well. It’s almost easier to hold the phone unprotected than to hold it with this case. There are too many other options on the market for this to be worth a recommendation.
