They drink soft drinks, take phone pictures, deal with dropped email and fix broken toilets: astronauts, they’re just like us.
The four astronauts on their way to the moon are carrying out a different mission than before, but they’re also still messing around in ordinary life – all the while floating together in a square image the size of two minivans.
Mission specialist Christina Koch, the first woman to venture into space, said preparing for a 10-day trip is like planning a camping trip.
“It represents unity and something unusual,” he said in a video released by NASA.
Orion’s products include 58 tortillas, 43 cups of coffee, grilled beef brisket and five types of hot sauce.
And one toilet… that had a problem.
