Volume 2, Issue 2 highlights LENTE’s partnership with COMELEC for inclusive electoral reform.
We thank our long-time partner, the Vulnerable Sectors Office of the COMELEC, for their continued cooperation and for highlighting LENTE’s ongoing advocacy for electoral reforms that make Philippine elections more inclusive: the establishment of the Comelec Vulnerable Sectors Office through legislation and the introduction of early voting for vulnerable sectors.
LENTE looks forward to advancing the adoption of these reforms when Congress resumes session on 4 May, and before the upcoming start of the 2nd Ordinary Session of the 20th Congress.
