In a game that was never going to be won with speed and skill, Stutzle made several spectacular plays as he drove the puck up the ice, losing only one possession and was once pocketed by Jackson Blake on his way out of the second half. The German made some quality passes, once hitting Dylan Cozens in space with a soft bowl pass a minute early in the third period. All four of Stutzle’s shots came from the area, and he missed or was blocked several times. The 1st line was good in transition and looked scary in the first half of the game, but Stutzle has higher gears to attack offensively.
