At my first Art Hang, artistic Gen Z teamed up with a handful of music fans who follow Ottawa’s vibrant jazz scene. For example, at the next table, there was a 23-year-old man from Ukraine who painted a beautiful watercolor of three swallows, representing peace, and a young woman from Thunder Bay who was sewing a sweater. But the third person was a 60-year-old gentleman who admitted to liking jazz music, then copied the band’s logo – the Primary Colors – in red, yellow and blue.
