Donald Trump got angry during the interview 60 minutes when confronted with parts of the alleged shooter’s notice.
Interviewer Norah O’Donnell quoted a document purportedly written by shooter Cole Tomas Allen: “I am no longer willing to allow a child of children, a rapist and a traitor to cover me for his crimes.”
Trump replied: “I was waiting for you to read because I knew you would. You are horrible people … he wrote that. I’m not a rapist, I didn’t rape anybody.”
Then O’Donnell asked: “Oh, you think he meant you?”
Trump continued: “I’m sorry. I’m not a babysitter. You’re reading that nonsense from a sick person?”
He went on to say that he had been falsely implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, claiming it had nothing to do with him.
“You should be ashamed to read that because I’m not one of those things,” Trump said. “You shouldn’t read that 60 minutesyou are a shame.”
