Guilfoyle, A former prosecutor and Fox News host who was once married to California Governor Gavin Newsom and later became engaged to Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., made the statement while speaking to reporters from the Greek national broadcasting organization (ERT) when they visited his headquarters.
In a recent interview and Breitbart – the self-proclaimed “platform of the alt right” – Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Trump would expect a very good reception in Greece if he visited.
“He’s going to have a good time,” he said. “The Greeks are very proud of our hospitality.”
President Donald Trump to be praised Greece as a “good” partner and Mitsotakis as a “good person,” following the interview.
Guilfoyle said he would recommend that Trump give a major speech in the country, especially before the 250th anniversary of American independence.
“Well, of course, we would all like that, wouldn’t we? Should (Trump) give a speech at the Acropolis. I hope he will come, I will ask him to come. He is a very hard worker, he works non-stop,” he said.
Rumors are rife in Athens that Trump may visit before the NATO summit in Turkey on July 7-8.
