Trump calls new US attacks on Iran a ‘love pipe’ (VIDEOS) – RT World News

Tehran has accused Washington of violating the ceasefire and retaliating against US warships

The US military has launched attacks against Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, with Tehran demanding revenge against US warships in the area.

President Donald Trump described the latest US strikes as “Just a love pipe,” insisting by phone with ABC News that the April 7 ceasefire remains in effect. In a follow-up post on Social Truth, he warned that the US would attack Iran “harder, and more violent” unless Tehran signs the agreement “quick.”

The US Central Command claimed it targeted Iran’s launch sites, command and control sites, and surveillance sites in “self-defense,” following “without prompting” missile, drone, and small boat attacks on USS Truxtun, USS Rafael Peralta, and USS Mason.

A senior US official told Fox News that US forces attacked the Iranian port of Qeshm and Bandar Abbas, as well as the Bandar Kargan naval checkpoint in Minab.

Tehran accused the United States of violating the ceasefire by targeting an Iranian oil tanker that was entering its territorial waters. The Iranian Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya also accused Washington of coordinating with “Some regional countries” hitting civilian areas along the coast of Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island.

The IRGC Navy claimed that three US warships fled the Strait of Hormuz at high speed after suffering “massive destruction.” Both CENTCOM and Trump insisted that no US assets were affected.

Iranian state media, meanwhile, reported that air defenses have been launched west of Tehran in response “Hostile targets.” RT crews in the Iranian capital confirmed hearing air defense activity and taking pictures of flares in the sky.
