Elon Musk has launched a scandal against French judicial authorities investigating possible abuses on his X social network.
France opened an investigation in January 2025 into allegations that X, formerly known as Twitter, was used to interfere in French politics.
The investigation has since expanded to include allegations of Holocaust denial, the distribution of fake sex news and most recently the possibility of involvement in the distribution of child sexual abuse images.
Responding to a post about the latest round of investigations, Musk wrote in French on Friday: “They are more fake than chocolate euros and gayer than flamingos in neon tutu!”
The SpaceX and Tesla tycoon, under investigation along with former X CEO Linda Yaccarino, recently failed to respond to a subpoena from a French court for an informal interview.
He already described French judges as “mentally deranged” in an earlier French post, following the raid on X’s Paris office in mid-February.
