The technical aspects of the production pulled the show together, immersing the audience in a variety of elaborate sets supported by lighting and props. The set design and special effects were a constant visual treat, each set was unique and vivid, making it easy for the audience to follow the sequence. The setting was further enhanced by the bright and colorful costumes each member wore. Paired with concentration and lighting, the costumes worked in incredible harmony to create cohesive visuals that mirrored the bright and vibrant colors of the original animation. Additionally, the costume team did an impressive job with the actors’ hair and makeup, elevating their costumes to the next level. The hair and makeup of the actors were excellent accessories that complemented each character and costume without overpowering them. Ariel’s wig, for example, was not woven, so it looked like the actress’s real hair!
