Carlton are investigating members of an unofficial Blues fans’ podcast after they aired abusive and violent comments about a popular female-focused supporter group called the Carlton Besties.
Carlton Besties co-founder Tori Saros has confirmed to this flagship that they have lodged a complaint with The Blues after ‘The Jumper Punch’ presenter Rocco Stagnitti said he would “kick the f–k out of the Besties”.
The comment was made while discussing a charity boxing match between content creators, prompting laughter from the three other male panellists. The podcast is not officially affiliated with Carlton.
“Name one creator I wouldn’t win,” Stagnitti said in the episode, which is still available on Instagram.
The four presenters discussed several Carlton fans who thought they would beat Stagnitti in a boxing match, before saying: “But anyone else … I’d kick the f*** out of the Besties”.
“Hey there, Respects Round mate right there, Respects Round mate,” said one of the podcast guests.
