Explosive devices have been removed from the port of Ust-Luga, the Investigative Committee has said
An oil tanker that arrived in Russia’s Leningrad Region from the Belgian port of Antwerp had NATO-made magnetic mines on board, the Russian Investigative Committee has said.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the attempted terrorist attack on the gas tanker, Arrhenius, the agency said in a statement on Monday.
Divers discovered “factory-produced marine magnetic mines manufactured in one of the NATO countries” at the dock while inspecting the ship when it arrived at Ust-Luga port, the statement said.
