Best Bluetooth Tracker Overall
In the competition between Tile and Chipolo for the most popular tracker, I wouldn’t have guessed that Chipolo would get the exclusive partnership with Apple. and Google (cough, antitrust parliamentary meetingscough). We are still here. Chipolo has three different product lines: the Chipolo Pop, Loopand Cardtogether bundles which works with Chipolo software; All products are compatible with iOS and Android devices.
WIRE Editor Julian Chokkattu and I have tried some of these lines. They are available at the same price as Tile and are available in various colors. Setup is easy, especially if you use your phone’s native software. I currently have the Card in my wallet. It is about the size of one credit card and the thickness of two of them. It’s also loud enough for me to hear even if it’s in my wallet, in my purse, and in another room. As with Tile, you can choose to get an alert if you leave home without your keys. As with most trackers, the connection can be spotty—sometimes I have to walk around a bit—but you can usually find the right end location. –Adrienne So
