2026 National Games in Agusan del Sur

For the first time in its decades-long history, the Palarong Pambansa is heading to Agusan del Sur. The region will host the 66th edition of the grassroots sports exhibition from May 24 to 31 as the best student-athletes at the primary and secondary levels hope to deliver for their regions.

Medals are contested in 24 regular sports, three demo sports, four para sports, and four exhibition sports, with 20 athletic associations, including the country’s 18 regions, the National Sports Academy, and Philippine Overseas Schools, vying to qualify.

After clinching its 18th consecutive overall title in the 2025 edition in Ilocos Norte, the Central National Region returns as the favorite, followed by Calabarzon, Western Visayas, Davao Region, Central Visayas, and Central Luzon.
