The most interesting question in the first round will be who Geelong will run with Oisin Mullin.
His choices are Hugh McCluggage, Lachie Neale or Will Ashcroft? Obviously, Mullin took on McCluggage in the qualifying finals and beat him but McCluggage fought back in the grand finals.
I suspect Ashcroft will be dealt but time will tell as Neale has been in good form.
The Lions will send Josh Dunkley to Bailey Smith in the backfield and try to curb the influence of Ollie Dempsey.
“Dunkley will have Smith’s role when he leaves but the other tag roles are there as options if we need them,” Lions coach Chris Fagan told Kayo Sports.
