It’s finals day in Hong Kong, and both of last year’s champions still have a shot at successfully defending their title.
For New Zealand, Canada stand in their way to play another final in the city, while Argentina’s men need to get past Spain.
On the other side of the women’s draw, Australia have been rocking ahead of them, although France should provide stiffer opposition than others. On the men’s side, South Africa is somehow still alive, but now New Zealand is among them with the first title in the city.
Before all that, we have the qualifying finals and final group matches in the Melrose Claymores competition, with China needing an emphatic win over Japan in the men’s competition to prevent Hong Kong from reaching the final.
After two busy days at Kai Tak Stadium we’re coming to the end of another great Sevens, so stay tuned for live coverage of Super Sunday in Hong Kong.
