Rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo’s retirement have once again hit the headlines after the statements of his sister, Katia Aveiro, sparked speculation about the future of the Portuguese captain.
“I really believe this is a farewell, so use it well because it will be difficult to find someone of his kind again, the information I have is reliable, I believe this is the last dance, so let’s enjoy it,” he said. Katia clarified that her remarks only referred to her life in Portugal, not her club future with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, he reflected on his brother’s legacy, praising his influence on the game. “Anyone who is really intelligent, understands football, and really loves football, must be attracted to Cristiano Ronaldo. If you don’t like Cristiano Ronaldo, then you don’t like football,” Aveiro said.
Ronaldo is touched by his sister’s comments
While receiving the Man of the Match Award, Ronaldo said, “It is not important for now. I will have time to talk about it after winning or losing the tournament; I will talk with my family, and then I will make a more correct decision. I no longer make decisions in the heat; now everything is done calmly. What is important for me now is to enjoy the moment and help the national team.”
Cristiano Ronaldo played his first international match with Portugal in 2003 when he was only 18 years old and since then he has been the most capped player in the country. He holds many records, including most goals in men’s international football. He has scored more than 140 goals in more than 230 matches.
