Dyson Memorial Day Vacuum Deals: V15 Detect, Gen5Detect, PenseliVac On Sale

Shopping for a Dyson vacuum is an experience. There are many scrolling designs and huge price tags on many of them. As someone who tests vacuums for a living, I have to admit that a Dyson blows many other vacuums. There are a few cheaper models I’ll still pick up (see my complete guide to cordless and robot vacuums for more recommendations), but if you’re dreaming of a Dyson, this weekend is a good time to buy.

Several of my favorite Dyson models are on sale over the long weekend. This weekend’s sale includes Dyson new robot vacuum and The PencilVac that I can’t stop usingand my overall favorites like V15 Detect and Gen5Detect, and more builds that our team has liked to use. Read on to find out every Dyson sale I’d buy this weekend.

The Best Dyson Vacuums on Sale for Memorial Day

Best Dyson for the Price

If you are looking for great features at a good price, I already recommend it Dyson V15 Know when it’s not on sale, making this the best time to buy. You’ll find a Fluffy Optic cleaner head and a Digital Motorbar Cleaner to use on hard floors, carpets or rugs, a trigger control and information about the particles you’re absorbing as you remove. It’s lightweight and easy to use anywhere in the house, and an hour’s battery life should be enough for cleaning the whole house.

The Most Powerful Dyson

Dyson’s most powerful stick vacuum is the Gen5Detect, which is a great choice if you have pets as it has a faster motor and stronger suction than the V15 Detect to pick up more pet hair (it’s our top pet hair vacuum for a reason) and it has a HEPA filter to keep pollutants inside the vacuum instead of being released into the air. It also comes with a true power button, so you don’t have to hold down the shutter button the whole time to use it. Similar to the V15 Detector, it comes with a Digital Motorbar cleaning head and a Fluffy Optic cleaning head for use on carpets and hard floors, respectively. You’ll also get two extra attachments, as well as a built-in dust and crevice tool (it’s nice not to have to wonder where this attachment is!) It’s an expensive vacuum, but well worth the investment when it’s on sale.

If You Only Have Hard Floors

I shouldn’t love PencilVac a lot, but I find myself reaching for it often, and I think it’s well worth its potential when it’s on sale. Part of what makes it easy to grab compared to my other stick vacuums is how easy it is to store and charge with the free charging base, allowing it to stand anywhere I like in my house as long as there’s a station nearby. PencilVac has two versions, Fluffy and Fluffycones, with the latter version having a design that has cone-shaped inserts to better collect debris. It’s only for hard floors and has a short battery life, but I like how flexible and light this vacuum is. It’s usually a high price tag for its capabilities, and even on sale, it’s not what I’d call cheap, but it’s a great, fast everyday vacuum.

Dyson’s latest Robot Vac

Dyson’s new robot vacuum, the Spot+Scrub Aiis the first to double as a vacuum and mop. It has a large base station that reminds me of a Dyson vacuum, in that the dirt bin is open and round like you would see attached to a Dyson stick vacuum or one of their upright models. It does a great job of mopping and cleaning, and can learn most floors, and the navigation has improved since the old Dyson 306 Vis Nav. Still, it’s not perfect navigation, since the camera sits below the top of the vacuum and doesn’t always see the low-level furniture it’s going to collide with. If you don’t have a ton of furniture (or tons of IKEA pieces, like me), this vacuum might be perfect for you.

V15s Detect Submarines

If you want a vacuum that doubles as a mop, look no further than this V15 Detect variant that’s also on sale for the holiday weekend. The V15s Discovery Submarine comes with a Submarine wet roller head that converts it from a standard Dyson vacuum (which still comes with a Fluffy eye cleaning head and a Digital motorbar cleaner head for use on hard floors and carpets) to a wet roller. You cannot buy a regular V15 Detect and add this attachment on; This V15 is made to work with this Submarine head. You’ll fill the small reservoir in the roller head with water and you can start mopping, but you’ll have to rinse the mop head later by hand, which is a bit messy.

If you’re not looking to spend a ton but want a Dyson that’s portable and great for stairs, cars, and even boats, Dyson Car+Boat it is designed for that. It’s in the name, after all. This handheld vacuum packs solid power and has the best battery life for a handheld vacuum. It uses a trigger-style controller like the V15 Detect, which I actually find useful for cleaning tight spaces like stairs and cars so you don’t have to switch off when you go around the car or on the next set of stairs. It’s an affordable way to enter the Dyson ecosystem, especially since it’s on sale.
