Hong Kong rapper Ryan Choi Chun-yin released a new single on Friday with singer Edan Lui Cheuk-on as he continues his burgeoning music career.
The two, who were roommates at the University of Hong Kong, launched the song “1206”, a name referring to the number of the room they shared at the time.
The song focuses on their friendship and personal growth over the years.
In the music video, Choi and Lui return to their old dormitory of Suen Chi Sun Hall, creating scenes from their student days and daily hall life, along with clips of Choi’s fencing.
The video also features key moments in both men’s careers.
In one scene, Lui tells Choi he’s thinking of auditioning her Good Night Show – King Makera reality series that would later launch his career.
