Speaking to reporters, he said, “We were discussing foul, really. But it wasn’t bad. I’m sure everyone will do their thing and make a big deal. But no, it wasn’t anything. I thought there was a foul earlier and he said,” What, what about the one above me? and I was saying, ‘You’re strong enough to take it,’ you know what I mean?”

Argentina beat England 2-1 at the Atlanta Stadium (Mercedes-Benz Stadium) and reached the final.
Despite England’s defeat against Argentina, Bellingham he admitted that it was still an honor to share the field with a player many consider to be a legend. “It is lucky to play against Messi. There was nothing against him. I am on the losing side which hurts me a lot, but it is lucky to go against him,” he said.
