Several explosions and subsequent fires have led to the evacuation of 250 houses in Dagestan.
At least three explosions have occurred in a gas pipeline in the Republic of Dagestan, in southern Russia, causing a huge fire in the area and causing more than 140 residents to be evacuated from the area.
The incident happened in the industrial area of the city of Kyzylyurt. The fire that erupted from the burst pipe was up to 15 meters high, according to local authorities. A preliminary assessment showed that the explosions and fire did not cause any losses, the interim head of Dagestan, Fedor Schukin, said.
