If you wish to get your hands on it Naomi Osaka’s special Wimbledon outfitI have good news and bad news. The good news is that Nike has finally released it to the public, and for a brief, shiny moment this morning, it was in stock. Bad news? By the time I sat down to write this, almost every size was sold out (right now, you can only get it in small).
The garment, which Nike is charging $185 for, features seven tiny 3-D flowers as a symbol of Kirigami (a timeless Japanese art form). It looks stylish, but it’s built for real tennis – the fabric stretches and sweats, and the floral details are “carefully placed” specifically so they “don’t interfere with her play.”
Even Osaka herself was shocked by how quickly the dress flew off the shelves online. “You guys selling my Wimby dress before I even had a chance to wear it in court shuts me up,” he said. Posted in Threads. “Okay fashionistas, I see you! (I got you for the walk on though).”

Osaka has had a solid run to the majors, too. She just beat Elise Mertens in straight sets to reach it quarter finals at the Bad Homburg Open. Along with Wimbledon it officially starts todaywe will see him donning this look especially on the grass courts soon.
If you’re into smaller clothing, head over to Nike’s website now. For the rest of us, it’s either wait and hope to find another store in no particular order, or do your research and check out resale sites like eBay (just be prepared for the warehouse).
