This is especially useful if you, like me, tend to switch your Bluetooth monitors between the things you use. If you’ve attached the Pebblebee Clip to your luggage, you can take it out and put it in your pocket when you’re grabbing dinner alone while traveling. Pebblebee works with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub. If you’re worried about triggering the siren, you might as well grab it Pebblebee 5 Cards ($35)which is the same price and does not have a siren.
Tips and Tricks for Finding Your Luggage

I’ve been losing my luggage since I was four years old, being sent on a plane halfway around the world. Here are a few ways I’ve learned to keep track of my load (and how to deal with disappointment when of course I don’t).
Zip your tracker in the interior pocket. You don’t just want to let it loose in your property. Either it will slip into the middle of your clothes, where the Bluetooth signal will be blocked, or you or a careless TSA employee might accidentally shake it on the floor. Some of my favorite carry-on boxes, such as Advanced Design Roller Pro ($600)AirTag bags are built into the bag, so you don’t have to worry about it falling off.
Mark your personal monitors. It’s very easy to change the name and emoji of your followers in Find My or Find Hub, and you should! It’s hard to keep track of what items you’ve lost with six AirTags, all labeled “Adrienne’s Loggage.”
Check the battery before you leave. If you don’t travel often, it’s easy to let your luggage of Bluetooth trackers sit unused for months.
What about GPS trackers? GPS trackers use satellites, while AirTags and other similar trackers use Bluetooth and a multi-source network of compatible devices that can communicate with them, such as phones. While you may experience small gaps in the use of Bluetooth trackers when searching for your luggage—for example, your bag was loaded onto a cart and is not within 30 feet of the iPhone when it goes to baggage claim—you’re pretty sure there are plenty of devices on the Find My or Find Hub networks at the airport to help set up a tracking station. GPS trackers usually require a subscription, so I don’t recommend them for cargo tracking if you’re only going to use them a few times a year.
